Spent 2 hours watching this film on a Saturday evening. It makes me thinking even more.

The Silence of The Lambs...

'Jonathan Demme won an Academy Award for Best Director. Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins both won Oscars for their roles as Clarice Starling and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, respectively. The film won additional Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. The Silence of the Lambs is only the third (and most recent) film to win the five most prestigious Academy Awards (after It Happened One Night, 1934 and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, 1975).'
From wiki.

I watched it because I thought it is an Oscar film! Allright, It wasn't that bad really, but it was not that great either. Anthony Hopkins was more like a supporting role, but he was the the same awesome as usual. Jodie Foster? Never quite like her films.

Anyways, the plot is interesting. How they made one person relying on another person to rescue yet another person from this one person who like to skin people. Seriously, it is interesting..but boring.

Just one thumb up. But make it two for Anthony Hopkins eating human tounges scene. Eew.

TV Dilemma

I think they should stop showing all these stupid games on tv after all shows end. Just close it like Okto and play some nice music in the background. But if I want to listen to music, I won't use my tv right?

The games are very stupid. But it looks like the jackpot machine I saw in the casino. I think it's time to go up the hill to win some money again. Kl, end of may, anyone???

MILK..

No kidding, you really gotta watch this movie.
It was devastating, yet hopeful.

Sean Penn deserves the award more than anyone else.
And he got it.
Very well-deserved.

The best movie of the year, definitely.

'YOU GOTTA GIVE THEM HOPE.
WITHOUT HOPE, LIFE WILL BE MEANINGLESS.'

Take this, and move on.
Life's full of surprises and possibilities.
You just gotta try, and try.
Try to stay alive and fight for everything you want.

Many, many, many thumbs UP! :]

Antique Bakery (西洋 骨董 洋菓子店 ,Seiyō Kottō Yōgashiten)

Remember Slam Dunk and Feeling 100% those two Japanese manga?

Especially Slam Dunk.
Yeah I grew up getting hooked on these two.

It was a tough yet innocent childhood where every kid in the neighbourhood grew up without the kind of technologies we have nowadays.
I remember locking myself in my room with the stolen manga from George and spent the whole afternoon reading it.

It was a nice one.

And here's another one - Antique Bakery.

I didn't read this one, but I just watched the movie.
It was pretty good. Interestingly entertaining.

But of course, the 'beauty factor' of all 4 boys plays a big part.
Watch it if you haven't! Borrow from me if you don't have it.

It's Tuesday - my selfproclaimed most productive day of the week. Time to do some work!
Midweek is here! :]
