2 more hours to the most productive day of the week. What am I thinking about?
Chionggg ah!

Seriously, I don't understand why some companies (that are doing global
business - export and import) still refused to get a damn website.
Okay, mostly those from emerging countries. Oh right, is that why they are
still emerging markets? Right. Without the proper communication and information channels, how are we going to do proper business?
Seriously, seriously. It's just a website. Even I have my own domain and
site. Get a website! Go global! Go rock the world!!! STAT!
Boss rushing for presentation.
Hundreds of other things to do.
Sucky pricing needs to be done like now now now.
BD and PD all jumbled up together.
Services providers want to screw you up.
Banks are not helping.
Transaction retrieval needs money.
Ridiculous demands.
Late night USA calls.
Not enough sleep and coffee supply.
Tell me how sucky Mondays can be.
You tell me.
Fuck man.
Somehow I wish, things were simpler, happier.
Somehow I wish, we don't belong to anybody else.
Somehow I wish, you are you, but not you.
'Jonathan Demme won an Academy Award for Best Director. Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins both won Oscars for their roles as Clarice Starling and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, respectively. The film won additional Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. The Silence of the Lambs is only the third (and most recent) film to win the five most prestigious Academy Awards (after It Happened One Night, 1934 and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, 1975).'
From wiki.
I watched it because I thought it is an Oscar film! Allright, It wasn't that bad really, but it was not that great either. Anthony Hopkins was more like a supporting role, but he was the the same awesome as usual. Jodie Foster? Never quite like her films.
Anyways, the plot is interesting. How they made one person relying on another person to rescue yet another person from this one person who like to skin people. Seriously, it is interesting..but boring.
Just one thumb up. But make it two for Anthony Hopkins eating human tounges scene. Eew.
This is what I do every Fridays. Jamming and just jammings on Fridays. Saturday I will laze at home, watching a movie with myself, and then go to the cafe to finish up some work. But the last two weekends were pretty awesome. Farewells, birthdays, gigs, and chill outs. It's not funny when you have to cross the border on Friday night, then back in Singapore again on Saturday morning. But when we're ready for a more demanding crowd in Singapore, we will see you there.
Work has been well. I've been reading a lot of business books. Considering the MBA as an option is a tough one. But if I really get my ass into HBS, Boston is not far away from New York. HBS, is a dream. New York, is the destination. :] Business development job has been good. With all the business knowledge and information I learned from books, I am a much confident person now, when dealing with those CEOs and directors especially. But somehow, it has become like a routine, you know, the way you're trying to clinch every deal. I reckon, I need more inspring business quotes.
I can't remember when was the last time I stepped into a club. That 'three weeks ago' drama has finally came to an end, hopefully. Lesson learned? Never, never, never, never, shit on your own plate. Cause you gotta eat it later. Shame on you. No, I can't remember when was that. Definitely, a long time ago. That night at dbl O with Aaron, the Irish, doesn't count. We were there to play pool, enjoy good music, and cheapskate on free boozes. I guess my body is aching from all the heavy metal music that I can't stand another night with 'dance till we drop' and 'too much alcohols in the systems'.
I think I am happier this way. I like how I spend my weekdays working really hard, and studying on the weekends. The book cafe is the must on Saturdays. I like their overpriced breakfast, but I don't quite like the bill. It's a nice hang out place if you're looking for some peace and quietness. Sundays, are for house chores, and maybe some gym sessions. Swimming, has been a really good friend of mine but whenever I see my friend Elson, who I need in order to access to the condominium, I remember how the film is stuck in my blackbird. My second roll of film, with some amazing photos I remember, is exposed, and I don't think it's any good idea to still send for developing. I am getting back the baby d100 so with that, there's another thing to do on weekends.
C H A & A.C. has to come back alive too. We've been slacking, so sorry. But A.C.'s sucky streamyx needs to be blamed. I think I am still short of some mornings, or misplace it somewhere, but your favourite photosite will be up and running again, soon! This Sunday, seems like a good chance. To relocate it from blogspot to posterous.
No big trips lately. Unless I can work my ass off, shooting multiple birds at one time. I reckon working 18 hours a day is still not sufficient. Very little time, a lot to do. Our favourite line as an excuse, no? We missed the grant by 6 days, so the American dream is getting further away. But there's always a way, when there's a will. We will get there. I will get there. Boston is not just a dream. With or without work.
The frugal apparel line is still in progress. I returned the sewing machine, with a heavy heart. Not that I don't want to keep it, but it will just make me a different person from who I want to be. I believe this is a wiser choice. I am very excited about the first masterpiece though. And I am sure no one wants the first piece to be sewn by me, of course. We'll see. I think I really need a 'Dummy for Sewing'. My hands are better for ciggies, not needles, apparently.
Nothing interesting. But I find everything enjoyable. Those lonely nights, will go away. I promise. When I save enough to live nonfrugally one day, you'll see me in Boston. Thats the promise, no? Stay cool. Stay cute. Stay funky. Stay fit.
I am a superficial bitch, remember. Hurhur. But I know you love me. :P
'I can feel it going up my head.'
'I think its going down my boobs.'
'I used to drink every night before sleep.'
'Alcoholic!'
'Eh, I brought Sake. Cause I need to work overtime today.'
'Alcoholic!'
'What's wrong with you people getting drunk after 2 cans of beer.'
'Because we are chinese.'
'We should have a bar in our new office.'
'A yellow box too.'
Friday, is THE day.
Enjoy :}
I think they should stop showing all these stupid games on tv after all shows end. Just close it like Okto and play some nice music in the background. But if I want to listen to music, I won't use my tv right?
The games are very stupid. But it looks like the jackpot machine I saw in the casino. I think it's time to go up the hill to win some money again. Kl, end of may, anyone???
